The path of The Root & Resonance is paved with a lineage of earth-wisdom stretching back to 1500s Europe. Carried across the Atlantic and settled into the red clay of Alabama, this knowledge wasn't found in books—it was lived at the family kitchen table.

The Wisdom of Two Grandmothers

My foundation was built on the practical wisdom of one grandmother, who showed me that nature's medicine was our first line of defense. She taught me that a well-stocked cabinet of herbs and intentional supplements could support a family through almost anything.

My other grandmother held the legacy of the Womack Snake Root Elixir. I can still see the large glass jar she kept tucked away in a high cabinet—a quiet sentry over her kitchen. If you walked into her home with a weary spirit or a physical ailment, you didn't leave without a dose of that warming elixir. I remember that grounding heat—a physical promise of care that moved through the whole body.

The Awakening & The Honest Path

For a time, like so many of us, I drifted away from those "old ways." The Root & Resonance was born from a period of profound personal awakening when I realized I had lost my Alignment with the natural world. I began a massive transformation in how I viewed my health and what I put into my body.

I'll be the first to tell you: I am not "perfectly" aligned. In a modern world of convenience and processed noise, I am still a work in progress. I still face the same daily struggles of choosing the better path while navigating a busy life. But that is exactly why this apothecary exists. Alignment isn't a destination you reach and never leave; it is a daily practice of allowing Nature to heal us whenever we can.

Today, from my apothecary in the high desert of Southwest Colorado, I bridge these two worlds:

The Root: I honor the ancestral legacies I inherited. Practicing responsible, modern herbalism, I have modernized the Womack formula for safety—utilizing the support of Black Cohosh to recreate that specific, healing "Womack warmth."

The Resonance: I use modern precision—from my automated grow tent to my xTool sacred geometry creations—to manifest the divine patterns found in nature.
